Industrial Design: 2nd Year
For our Product Interface class, we were challenged to redesign a range of wayfinding signs and maps for PTV. This was a group assignment (where I worked alongside Chris Wong and Kyle Beard), but one part that I focused on was the whole Melbourne train network map. I colour-coded each line relative to where abouts it was located, in reference to a compass. Details/icons below to help you understand.
This explains briefly how each of the lines are coloured - there are sub colours representing each diverging line, and one main colour for the subcolour group to depict where abouts each line is going to from the base stations (eg. Flinders Street).
